So I am sitting here with Dad in the kitchen on his laptop and we are looking back at 2009.
If you look at Xavier's Website he did the same kind of review at the end of the season, I wanted to the same thing but at the year end as it ties in with my website being on-line for a year. BUt the reason for doing it is the same, it is a chance to review where I was, where I am now and where the next leg of my journey is going.
My Health, Mental and Physical Development
I have enjoyed all that has happened this year but the best thing is that my HSP episode feels like a million miles behind me now. It sometimes helps me when things aren't going right at School, on the golf course or the football to think back to those days when I could not walk and I know how lucky I am to able to do all the things I do now and that there are Children out there who aren't able to do what I do due to illness. I still get upset when things don't go my way now and again but a little whisper in my ear from Dad or a signal from him reminds me of this. This has improved since last year. This is still an area for me to focus on in 2010.
I have suddenly gone through a growth spurt and have now gone up to the next length clubs, the change has taken me a while to adapt to and I will remember this next time I have to switch clubs, it does take time to get used to them. In just over a month I have gone up 2 shoe sizes so I also have to remember that growing can impact on my golf and football. I still lag a little behind my peer group in terms of physical abillity on the golf course but now I am playing in my proper year group for football I am lot more comfortable. Rob Watts has told me to not worry about the physical side of golf for a long time but to just do as much sport as possible and be the fastest, fittist and stongest I can be without doing anything else special, he wants me just to grow and develop naturally, in the USA I did come accross Kids in my age group who were already working out! I know I need to look at my diet a bit more as I do snack out on a fair bit of junk food, Mum is adimant that this is going to change next year!
Golf Development and Competitions/Tournaments
I am really happy on the whole how my golf game has developed in 2010. Leading up to the World Championships I worked really hard on my game. As I look back I am happy with my performance in the major tournaments, I proved to myself I have what it takes to compete at the highest level of Junior Golf but I also realise that I in the big 3 tournaments (2 World Champs and Euro Champs) I finished in the middle of the fields, relative age and physical abillity play a little in this but I also realised from playing with the best Juniors in the World that some of my technique is bad and my shortgame is well off the pace. After the trip to the states me and Dad relaxed a bit and my golf also slipped back a bit, but I am not worried about this. My round of 63 in the second round in San Diego was without a doubt my best round ever being one of the lowest that day.
If I am honest retaining my National Order of Merit title on the BJGT was a goal but I achieved it by playing lots of events rather than pure golfing abillity. At the beginning of the year I could beat some players on the golf tour but by the year end they had either caught me up or were playing better and I noticed this, it has made me more determined to work on my game for next year. During 2009 on top of the trips to the USA, Scotland and Portugal me and Dad have travelled up and down the country to BJGT events, me and Dad have talked this through and we have decided that for at least 2010 I will concentrate more on the local competitions and play only the BJGT events which are within 1 3/4 hours travelling. I am not going to Scotland this year for the European Champs, we have instead booked a holiday. The USA is also off the agenda for a while. I am really happy to be in the county squad again and intend going to all the sessions.
My coaching with Rob has been both great and frustrating, it is great working with Rob, he is a great coach and I learn lots from him, he coaches players on the proper tour and I really like this. With this also goes that Rob is really busy so it isn't always easy gettting to see him. In the last 3 months I have changed my grip, for the golfers reading this, it is still baseball but I have my left and right hands now in a lot more of a neutral position, Rob has said that this is the biggest step forward I have taken. I intend working more on this and really working hard on my shortgame in 2010. I am hoping my new grip and using better balls for my swing speed will help with my distance as I have been one of the shorter hitters all year, but again I am not worried about this, Rob has told me that as I get bigger this will all fall into place.
Handicap
As we write this I have just got my official CONGU Handicap of 28, in truth I will struggle to play to this for a while but having it does give me more competition choice in terms of "open " comps.
Club Golf
Being given the scholarship at Castle Royle is a huge opportunity and I will be playing there as much as possible. Russell Jones is taking over as the Junior Organiser and he has a strong vision of developing a junior section which is a mainstay of the county scene in years to come. The Club are offering a great deal of financial support for the juniors and being a 7 day member is a huge thing. Russell has created a junior team just for the younger juniors on top of the normal junior team.
I will still play and keep my membership at Calcot, I have lots of friends there and it is the closest club to home.
Friends
I have lots of friends through Golf, I spend lots of time with Xavier as we are the same age and are now in the same county and club squads. We like competing against each other although I would say that Xavier has a better all round game than me.......................at the moment! Our Dad's are good friends now and they think its great that we are kind of pushing each other.
It would take me too long to mention to mention everybody else and I would probably miss somebody else but I look forward to seeing my friends at Castle Royle, Calcot and BJGT lots during 2010.
Football
I love playing football and I some lucky to be captain of Purley Jubillee, We have come along way this year and have surprised ourselves with how well we have done in the league. Reading Academy are really helping my all round game. I hope to stay in the academy as long as I can but it is quite presurised, I know at any time they could let me go but I am just trying to do my best. Football will continue to be my priority over golf on Saturday's during the Winter.
Goals for 2010
I want to get my handicap down to at least 24 by October - if I do, Dad has a slot booked on the Old Course at St Andrews! This gives lots of smaller goals around improving short game, course management etc to add up to this. If I get that right doing well in comps will take care of itself.
I am aiming at shooting 2 over or better around the Par 3 at Wentworth.
2009 Blog Archive
31st December 2009
Well definately my last blog of this year! Since my last blog Rob Rayner the Handicap Secretary at Castle Royle has looked at my Card from mapledurham and my handicap has been cut to 28. I know that I will struggle a little playing to this at Castle Rolyle and Calcot for a while but I am really pleased to have got a CONGU Handicap befoe my 9th Birthday. Unfortunately due to the weather we haven't been able top play at Wentworth, we are hoping to play there tomorrow so will include details and pictures etc in my new blog for 2010.
I stayed over at Xavier's for a sleep over and we had a great time, we were hitting balls on the range at Wentworth when Seve Benson (Wentoworth Member and Touring Pro) turned up to practice, I thought he looked like Geoff Ogilvy! We played lots of games on the Wii and then couldn't get to sleep!
Happy New Year to everybody and I hope you enjoyed following what I got up to in 2009!!

15th December 2009
Probably my last blog of 2009, me and Dad are going to do a review of the year entry before we archive this years blog and maybe give the website a bit of a fresh up.
So Football first, well typical I went down with a nasty cold at the beginning of last week so it was touch and go if I would make the Reading Academy game, I missed Purley training but I did make it to Reading. I was really proud to pull on the Reading Shirt for the first and maybe last time! Picture to follow in the Gallery. Wycome brought and big squad from their Elite Squad and they were really good! We played 6 lots of 15 minutes, I played in the 3rd and then the 5th and 6th I was expecting to play somewhere in Midfield but nobody fancied playing centre back so I volunteered. Wycome didn't score in my first period so I was quite pleased and Ryan the Advanced Centre Manager said I did pretty well. Not so good in the last 2 periods but Dad thought my passing from the back was real good, hope he was right!
Played for Purley on Saturday, bit of nightmare for me, missed 2 really good chances, one was the last kick of the game and we drew 0-0 in a game we absolutely dominated.
Had a lesson with Rob on Saturday, he is really pleased with my progress on my grip, we worked on my shortgame, played 18 holes at Mapledurham - shot net 63, have put the card into Castle Royle so will hopefully get my handicap cut. Dad has give me a surprise and I am playing the East Course at Wentworth with him and Xavier over Xmas I might be staying over Xavier's as well that night - awesome!
Have a good Xmas thanks again for being interested in what I'm up to.

6th December 2009
Mainly about my football this week! Had a good training session with Reading and I'm really excited as I have been called up to play for Reading Academy against Wycombe Elite Academy next Friday, I think I might even get to pull on a Reading Shirt! Things seem to have been going well, I recognise I am not the most skillful player there but my passing and shooting are pretty good.
Played for Purley yesterday and we were got back to winning ways, I set up our first goal and scored the second, it was fun scoring the second, I played a one-two on the edge of the box did a step over cut on my right foot and curled it in the far corner. I knew it was a good goal so I ran down the touchline and gave all the parents high fives! I got man of the match and Nigel sent me a nice text saying that I my all round game was good and that I was proving to be a good captain.
Then down to earth with a bit of a bump! Came last out of the 8 playing today in the 9 holes at Castle Royle today, felt I played better than I scored but I enjoyed playing with Zac and Seb we had a good joke on the way round. Never mind

29th November
Well it still hasn't stopped raining!
Reading training was on Friday but we had a floodlight failure half way through, didn't have a great session I felt this week. More disappointment yesterday as we finally lost our first game for Purley in the league. We started ok and were 1-0 up at the break but Woodley came back strong in the second half scoring from a corner, then a bit controversial! They had another corner and Taylor saved a shot as he had the ball in his hands one of their players kicked it out of his hands, we were gutted the ref let it stand, so were the managers and our "fans". I had a chance late on from distance but it just went wide.
Did a little bit of short game pratice yesterday pm but the comp at Calcot was called off today........you guessed it, course was closed due to the rain!
25th November
Hi everybody, will it ever stop raining!
Since the last blog I have had some great news, I have been confirmed in the county (BB&O) golf squad and the even better news is that Xavier has as well. We start back in Feb on Dad's 40th Birthday, well where else would he want to be!
Football seems to be going well at Reading Academy I feel I have been playing well and am a lot more confident in my passing and shooting. My dribbling could be better so I will work on that. Purley remain unbeaten we won 2-0 against Barton Reds on Saturday and Nathan and I scored the goals, we stay 2nd in the league and still unbeaten.
Played in another 9 holer on Sunday and Castle Royle, played just ok again getting 15 points or converted to 32 points for 18 holes if you understand that. Busy with my homework this week and Lucy is a bit poorly - will write again soon!
17th November
No football this weekend due to the weather and boy did it rain! Had a good session at Reading on Friday, they have reduced the squad down quite a lot so I'll have to keep working hard.
Played at Mapledurham for Castle Royle on Sunday in a Match Play friendly, unfortunately they didn't get a full tam up so me and Xavier had to play one player rather than singles. We won, I didn't play too well, Xavier played really well. The Team won 7-1. The other boys followed us up the last which was really nice, the after match meal was good as well - Burger and Chips - Yum!
8th Novermber
Hi All
Had a great time in Portugal, didn't play my best in fact I struggled to be honest. It was good having Mum and Lucy with us this time so we spent time together. We stayed on the Val de Pinta resort next door to the Pestana Gremacho resort when we played the tournament. The last hole is a long Par 5 up hill which finishes right in front of the clubhouse where we watched from the terrace. We got clapped quite a bit when we finished each day and that was really nice. I won nearest the Pin on the 15th hole in fact I was under par for that hole all week for the 4 rounds. Unfortunately I played bad but hopefully I fixed that - see later! I had a great time with Seth, James and Harrison and we went out a bit together after the golf. We also had a great time at the waterpark. Seth won our scratch event with James picking up the net. Harrison hurt himself falling out the buggy so could not complete the 4 rounds. The golf course was superb and the staff and tourist association made us very all very welcome - although Dad had a run in with a course marshall!
We went over to Villamoura one day and saw the superb courses there and also went down to San Lourenzo where Dad played in Europe's biggest proam in 1999 - he showed me the 6th hole which needs a tee shot from the top of a cliff!
I hit the ball really poorly in Portugal and me and Dad felt we had lost our way a bit, so I had a session with Rob on Saturday am. It took me a few shots but Rob got my grip on properly and although it felt funny I was ripping it!
Played in another 9 holer at Castle Royle today, shot 14 points not bad but had some really bad luck on the 7th - getting under 2 bunker lips (so much for it being my lucky number!). Had a few putts that burned the hole. But I did hit the ball a lot better. I finished 5th out of 6, not good! Xavier won it although he felt he didn't play that well.
We drew 2-2 at football yesterday to remain unbeaten and 2nd in the league. I almost scored the winner but couldn't quite stretch enough.
18/10/2009
Sorry for the delay again, Dad is just back from St Andrews after going for a trip up there with TC and Luke Coleman, understand he played ok. espcially round the Old Course (but TC took the money).
Football has gone ballistic! We played the then top team week before last and won 2-0 with me and Brandon scoring the goals. We then played the team currently bottom of the league this week and we won 4-0 with Nathan and Kyle scoring 2 each. So we are now lying 2nd a point off the top slot. Things also seem to be going ok at the Academy with Reading.
Haven't played anymore Golf since the last blog but will get some practice in this week before we head off to Portugal for the climax of the BJGT Season.

8/10/2009
Hi everybody, sorry for delay in posting the latest blog entry. The website editor has been off sick! Dad has been poorly after going down with Kidney Stones. Glad to say he's better. This followed him playing with Lucy for the first time on the BJGT - her website is under construction so I don't want to say anymore!
Golf has been a bit quiet as we get to the end of the season, but I have received my new golf clubs, I am grateful to the Oddfellows for their help in buying these - I have stayed with the US Kids Tour Series but the next length up. Played at Castle Royle on Sunday with them and struggled a bit. Scored 13 points for the 9 holes, my first 6 holes were all one pointers (net bogeys) but as I got used to them I finished net par, net par, net birdie so I will hopefully get there! Starting to think about gearing up for Portugal and the BJGT Race to Portugal Final. So will try and get some practice in over the next couple of weeks.
Football has been fine - news here is that Dad has stood down from managing Purley. He has set things up but feels that Simon and Nigel are best placed to coach and manage us. We drew 0-0 at the weekend. We had a couple of players missing so not a bad result.
29/9/2009
Sorry for the late posting of my blog - Dad has been away up in Scotland so haven't had chance to update.
Scored the winner (strike from the edge of the box) in our 1-0 win over Whiteknights on Saturday - started on the bench but came on and played just off the striker which seems like a better position for me. Brandon captained the team. We are upto 5th place now, 2 points off the top, we are hard to beat but we need to be better going forward. Reading Academy went ok on Friday - I scord in the practice match a rasping finishing from a yard!
Played with Xavier at Castle Royle Sunday, we both played ok but it got really slow round the back 9. I got a bit too tired as well. Had some bunker problems!!! Playing this Sunday in a development event over 9 holes.
20/9/2009
Had a great start to the week - got an email through from Rob Rayner (Handicap Sec at Castle Royle) to let me know my handicap had been cut by 6 shoys to 30. I am hoping to get it down to 28 by by the year end to get an official congu handicap. I played in Junior Captain's Day at Castle Royle today, Tommy is the captain - I played with him last week in the development comp, he is a good golfer and plays Bridge for England! I played in the greensomes this morning paired with Josh and I also played with David and Ben - we did ok getting 19 points for 9 holes. I played with Seb in the afternoon and I shot 16 points for nine holes off the yellows, I was pretty pleased with that especially as my handicap had been cut - managed to go in a water hazard again though! Afterwards we had a meal and a presentation, the club captain Mike Hill came along and spoke to us, he is really behind the juniors. I have really settled into Castle Royle, Nicky and Russell have really made me feel welcome and there are competitions all the time for us juniors. We had a putting competition as well today which was well difficult with some big breaking putts. Will post some pictures soon of me with Mike, Nicky and Russell
Drew 0 -0 with Barton Royals yesterday - good game could have gone either way, Callum won the effort award. Training went well with Reading on Friday, Ryan our coach complimented me on how I played.
13/9/2009
Will "kick off" with news about football this week. Started back in the Reading FC Academy on Friday and it went ok I think - you can never really tell as you don't get told too much how you are doing. Had a good training session for Purley on Wednesday following our heavy defeat in the friendly as covered below. We worked on a few bits especially goalkicks, corners, throw ins etc. It paid off as we had our first ever league game this Saturday against Streatley Strikers - I scored in a 1-1 draw. Draw was a fair result, we played well in the first half but they came back strong in the 2nd half. I scored the first ever league goal for Andy Pilling's Purley team so that's 2 first league goals now!
Today I played at Castle Royle in a 9 hole Development session, I am so pleased that Xavier is finally a member on the scholarship scheme with me and Zac. He played in the event and came equal 1st with 25 points! I had 22 points, played fairly well but made a few mistakes going in 2 water hazards. Looking forward to playing more golf with Xavier over the winter fitting that around football. Next week is Junior Captains Day at Castle Royle and I will be playing in it.
So the news on Lucy - she passed her dancing exams "Highly Commended". She is also playing in her first golf tournament in a few weeks time with Dad in the Parent and Child event at Collingtree. We put the trophy up last year for the first one - "The West Shield". She is also designing her website with Dad over the next couple of weeks so watch out for details soon.

Hi Everybody
First to report in on is Football, I am starting back in the Reading FC Academy this Friday for a further 7 weeks so we will see how it goes. I am pleased they have asked me back and I'll do my best. Played for Purely on Saturday in a friendly against Westwood, they have been together for a long time in comparison to us and it showed - we got stuffed, I won't say what the final score was but lets say it was kind of like England v Andorra! Got our first league game this week, thankfully in 4 divisions lower than Westwood! It has highlighted that we need to work on "re-starts" espicially goal kicks so that's what we will be doing this Wednesday at training.
I could only play half the game as I had to dash over to mapledurham golf club in Caversham for the annual Oddfellows Golf Day - I bet you think that's strange! Well, my nanny Alice is this friendly society and she joined me and Luce when we were born. They have been tracking the progress I have made in golf, they try and support their members and have really kindly donated some money to me which they want me to use towards equipment and coaching. But the day was better than that, I had to play off 28 and off the yellows but I shot 40 Stableford points which was the same as 12 under my 36 handicap, need less to say I will be handing the card into Castle Royle for my Handicap. 45 was the winning score although they had a "novice" prize for people off 28, I had the best score of the 28 handicappers but I was not happy to be called a novice against people who had just started playing so they agreed to give the prize to Steve McGuinness who is actually a friend of my Nan's, he was well happy. Had a rest Sunday and Dad played in his first medal for nearly 3 years - he played rubbish!
Some news is coming about Lucy soon, so check back soon for some exciting developmets!!!!
31/8/09
Good week and my final blog of August,
I have managed to play golf 4 days in a row! Played with Xavier on Friday around his home club Sunningdale Ladies - we played a better ball format to avoid playing matchplay as usual and we shot a gross 76 - pretty good! Loved the course hope I get chance to play there again.
Saturday - I played at my new club Castle Royle in a roll up, good front nine - 19 points - bad back nine - 2 blobs for a total 29. Nicky the Junior Organiser made me and Dad feel really welcome and I played with Zac and Seb - Seb and Zac played great - it was like walking round with a talking leaderboard!
Sunday I invited Xavier and Zac over to Calcot and we played 18 holes off the yellows. Will be good for Zac as he has a comp there in a few weeks.
And today I played with Jack all day at Calcot - so I'm off to bed, can hardly keep my eyes open!!
27/8/09
Well Celtic Manor was good and bad - first day played pretty solid shooting 93 round the Montgomerie Course. I was placed just 3 shots behind the leaders in 5th place out of 8 - yep 3 shots covered the top 5 places - pretty close stuff! 2nd day on the roman road course started well, we started on the hard 10th hole which includes a carry over a ravine to the green. I made it on in 3 safely stiffing my 3rd shot and made a gross par 4! Made 4 up the next hole and then we had a rain delay - it then went all wrong! I was expecting to resume from where we had suspended play as I had marked my ball but it was decided to restart from the 10th tee again with my previous score not counting. So this time I laid up again short of the ravine but dunked it in and ended up taking an 8 - my head fell off! So ended up shooting a aweful 105 to finish in 6th place overall. Uncle Rich did a good job on the bag and it was good having him there with Leslie - thanks to them for taking me! Congractulations to Sonny who won the competition, and happy Birthday to him - he turned 9 on the 2nd day!
We then played the 2010 course on the Saturday - what a course - some holes there was more blue than green on the course planner! I didn't lose a ball a day in the water but had pot bunker issues again taking a 13 down one of the long holes. I recovered ok to finish 2nd in the U8's to Rhys by a shot in the end, my back nine was really solid. Sonny was a bit knackered I think from the day before and didn't play his best. Throughout the event the SKy cameras were there but I don't think I made it into the coverage - willl have to wait and see!
Big mention to Xavier - he won his age group and his order of merit - off to meet him tomorrow for some social golf and hopfully some tennis - yep tennis! Remember you can see Xavier's website at http://www.xavierschwarz.com/ - check it out!!
Played in a junior medal at Calcot this week and shot level par for my handicap of the yellows, so pretty pleased with that.
Started back to football training Wednesday, went well, only a few weeks to the new season for Purley.
Will post some pictures from Celtic Manor when Dad get's chance

Hi everybody, sorry it's been a while - been away to Cyprus to our house for a holiday, golf was completely off the agenda - but beach cricket wasn't!! Had a great time catching up with our next door neighbours, Mark, Lou, Little Harry, Morgan and Ruby - we had great fun playing in their pool.
Also got to see my great mate Kyriacos in his bar - he has a picture of me on his wall!
So it was a well earned rest and chance to just chill out and play with Dad, Mum and Lucy.
Found out whilst away (and I am really pleased) that I have won the BJGT National Order of Merit for 2009 taking into account my injury it was a really consistent year.
Back in golfing action this week for the Tour Final of the British Junior Golf Tour over 36 holes at Celtic Manor, Dad can't caddy so uncle rich is on the bag. It would be great to with the Tour Final I will do my best but I don't really have any high expectations having 31/2 weeks without playing but I am really looking forward to playing thr 2010 course on Saturday. BTW, I have grown out of my clubs! Bit late to get them swapped to the longer set but will try and do this before Portugal - assuming my sponsor (yep Dad) can afford it!!!
Back into Football action next week, back to training with Purley!
Will write again soon, check out the news page - I got a letter from the Queen! Also updated pictures, links and videos - hope you enjoy.

July 24th 2009
Just about to return from my 2 weeks in the USA.
Well I learned a lot in the 2 weeks away and me and Dad are really pleased with the success of the trip.
As some of you will know I played 2 tournaments one in San Diego and one in Las Vegas.
I will be posting a page with pictures and also post some videos.
Travelling and the Locations
First thing was the travel, we flew from London Heathrow to Dallas Fortworth and then got a connecting flight to San Diego. When we arrived we were desperate to get to sleep as we had been up for nearly 24 hours. We gradually got used to the time difference although Dad kept up waking up at 5.00am for a few days.
San Diego was hot but not as hot as Vegas – it hit 119f a few days and 110F was the norm. Both cities are amazing, we spent one night on the “Strip” in Vegas and took in some of the sights. When we were in San Diego we went to Sea World and had lunch with a Killer Whale – well not quite!
Friends and New Friends
I was part of the team from the British Junior Golf Tour in San Diego with Zac, Ben, Dan, Adam and Daanyal also there. We had a night out with Ben which was fun. We all met up at the opening ceremony at Torrey Pines. More about that later
I was the only Brit in Vegas but made a few new friends especially Devin from Canada, we have exchanged email addresses so we will stay in touch.
Opening Ceremony – Callaway
What an incredible event, the putting green was laid out with all the flags of the nations represented and the states from the US. We then paraded and were introduced to the crowd and there were a few hundred people there! Probably the nearest thing to the “Golfing Olympics”. It was awesome to hear and see about previous winners and competitors like Phil Mickleson, Lorena Ochoa, Tiger Woods, David Toms to name a few.
The Golf
The Callaway was played over a few courses for the age group mine was based on a course called Sycuan. It was a good course some of the par 3 holes were a little long for me – it has highlighted to compete at the highest level at this stage I will need to hit the ball a bit further. I shot 71 in the first round which was quite solid apart from 2 mistakes. Although ok it left me in a tie for 64th spot (90 competitors). In the 2nd round I shot 63, Dad said it was my best round all year and I did play well especially my putting. I shot up the leaderboard to 38th but missed the cut which was only for the top 20. Still I proved to myself I was capable of competing in a world Jr event as it was one of the lowest rounds of the day.
Vegas was a smaller field, I finished 8th out of 20 odd in the field, again my shortgame was good only my length again which held me back from getting a higher placing. The tournament director was really nice and has given me a “lifetime junior exemption” for whenever I want to come backThe course was very good and very difficult I shot 2 nine hole rounds of 42 and 45. I have to make comment though on pace of play, the 2nd round took 3 hours for nine holes, there is a tendency in the US for the players to be lined up by their caddies, Dad does not do this for me. It was excessive in Vegas we watched the group on front of us with one player who walked off putts constantly. Not saying it would have made a great difference but I like to get on with my rounds so found this very tough. None the less I will have to learn how to stay focussed when the rounds are so slow as I guess it will happen again!!
So I really enjoyed my trip to the US, not sure when I’ll be back though. I learned new shots around the greens more pitched type of shots rather then the chip and runs I usually do. But most of all I learned I can compete with the world’s best in my age group and that has given me a lot of confidence. It has also given me lots to work on with Rob!

Hi everybody, my last blog entry before I head off to the states for the 2 World Championship Events,
It's been a bit hectic to say the least!
I have played my first round at Castle Royle and really enjoyed it, it is so different to Calcot so being at both clubs will give me a lot of variety.
I did the interview etc for the Evening Post, they haven't published anything on their website so watch this space for more details. Me and Dad did a presentation to about 100 people this week - made up of school children and parents / teachers. This was organised by the Reading School Sports Partnership which aims to encourage children to take part in sport. Dad did a lot of the presentation but I spoke through a Mike and answered questions about junior golf, I was really nervous before but I actually really enjoyed it! I was asked to present certificates to school children who were being made sporting ambasidors for their school - I enjoyed this and got made an ambasidor myself! Also got caught by surprise, I was asked for my autograph and have pictures taken with some of the kids - listening to their achievements - it should have been the other way around!
Football has been ok I will find out soon if I have been suceesful in being kept on at the Reading academy, watch this space on that one. More importantly the team I captain Purely Jubilee FC have been getting better, we played a tournament at the weekend and didn't let in one goal, we only scored one goal to win one game out of the 5 but we played teams who are in higher divisions than we will be in. I miss the last tournament - so good luck to all the boys!
Turning to the US trip me and Dad fly out Friday AM initially to Dallas before connecting onto San Diego. All is pretty much in place - if you follow the link on my schedule you will be able to see how I'm getting on although at time of writing they haven't yet updated the site with this years info. After a week in San Diego we then fly to Las Vegas for the 2nd tournament, again you might be able to follow progress on the link on the schedule page. I hope to make the cuts in both events, if I don't I will just enjoy the experience. I will try and blog from the US but I might struggle to do that.
Have a good couple of weeks..............................will write again soon,

28th June
Wow its been a bit hectic to say the least since my last blog!
Will start with Football, training has been going ok with Purley, we have worked hard on our team shape and being organised in defence, when we lose we aren't getting stuffed most we have lost any game so far is 2-0. We have drawn a load of games 0-0 but to date have only won one game 1-0. So we are now working a lot on our forward play. We have another tournament coming up next weekend, it is a 6 a side one a bit different to our usual 7 a side so it will interesting. The Reading Academy is going ok, my second week was a bit of a mare to be honest, I didn't play that well. This week I felt I did a lot better, it helped playing with Harrison (who I know well) and Matthew in the team part as I knew their names to call for the ball!
We had a couple of important Birthday Parties, we were invited to Sherry Adams 40th (she runs the golf tour), it was a great party with some of the golf tour kids and parents there, they had it in their back garden in a massive marquee and there were loads of stuff for us kids to do - thanks for the invite Sherry!
Then it was Lucy's - she had loads of her mates round, Mum and Dad put up a marquee (well I thought it was a big tent) in the Garden, we had 2 ladies over who did a High School Musical Party - before you ask I managed to hide behind the video camera so I didn't roped in to the dancing stuff! That was the Sunday, we also had her best friend Ruby round for tea on the Monday and then we went out on her actual Birthday with Grandad Andrew and Nanny Alice to Frankie and Benny's for her Birthday on the Tuesday - it was a 3 day festival!!
On the golfing front I have had another session with Rob and he says it is time for me to change my grip and we will be working on this after the season has finished in October - in the meantime I am making some slight adjustments, it does feel funny though, Dad says it's bound to and to be patient. Played my first competition since Scotland yesterday at St Piere Chepstow - it is a long course nearly 6000 yrds off the reds, shot 105 (-3 for my hanidicap) finishing tied 3rd behind Rhys (101) and James Bailey (102) - James played great off the tee hitting some massive drives, he holed his 2nd shot on the 10th for a gross Eagle 2! I was fiddling around with my grip on the front 9 and could not get comfortable, I did struggle off the tee a bit so maybe one for Rob next week.I have been practising my short game which was a lot sharper and saved my score a bit although I 3 putted 2 of the last 4 greens. I have a new putter - a Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Newport 2 (same as Tiger Woods) - it was Dad's and he's had it cut down for me.
Big news of the week is that I have been offered a golf scholarship at Castle Royle which Rob has helped with - I will be accepting it, it gives me membership and coaching which is paid for by the club so I am very grateful for this. I will need to hit certain standards to keep it but that is fair enough. I will be keeping my membership at Calcot as I still have a lot of ties there and of course I know many of the members.
Met up with Xavier last week and we did a Promotional Photo thing for the Tour at Wentworth, Dad was also interviewed along with Constantin and Leonie!!
Have a session with Rob tomorrow after school and the Reading Evening Post are coming along as they are going to do a slot on me for their website which ties in with the sport award I won in January - they wanted to wait to just before I went to America for the 2 tournaments - to be honest I am a bit scared of that type of stuff but I always enjoy it afterwards.
That's it for now, I will blog again before I head of to the USA - lastly get well soon to Grandad Andrew who is in hospital.
17th June
haven't played anymore tournament golf since Scotland but have been putting in quite a bit of practice time. Achieved one of my goals shooting better than +5 gross round the Par 3 at Wentworth. Had a good day over there with James Butler and Xavier - have a picture in the gallery. Haven't seen too much of James this year so it was good catching up with him and his Dad, John. Been playing a lot of practice golf at Calcot and Wentworth, also had a good session with Rob, had a few issues in Scotland with my longer fairway bunker shots so worked on that with Rob. Also now starting to change my grip, I tend to grip the club quite weak with my left hand so I am working on getting it more on top of the grip. Rob is off to the US this week to help Darren Clarke prepare for the US Open, hope he does well, he is due a good tournament! Have been given permission to practice more at Castle Royle even when Rob isn't around, this is good as the greens there are more to the US style so it will help with getting ready for my trip to San Diego and Las Vegas. Have posted a clip of my last session with Rob where I'm working on my pitching in the video's section. No competition golf this weekend but going to be playing at Chepstow St Pierre, Wales the week after, Dad has played there a few times so he might be useful!
We got an invite to Sherry Adma's Birthday party, it was a great night, they held it in a marquee in their garden, some of the kids form the tour were there so it was cool. It's Lucy's birthday party this weekend, I may have to hide myself away!!
Had my first session in the Reading FC U8's academy last Friday, think I did ok, Jo Pilling and Connor are there as well from my old U9's team and my mate Matthew from School is also there in the goal keeping section. It's a 6 week intro (I miss 2 weeks due to the USA trip) and I then find out if they want me to stay on or not. We had a letter through from Chelsea re some trial days/tournament they are running in July, me and Dad have decided not to do it as it is the week I get back from the states and I'll be knackered!
Will write again soon,

31 May 2009
Last entry of May and just doing this entry before we leave St Andrews heading off to the airport, the European Champs were great I played really solid and consistent shooting 42,44,43 to finish 14th so I achieved my goal and improved on last year, had one bad hole a day which cost me getting into the top 10 but overall, me and Dad are really pleased. The weather was better than last year but we had strong winds all through the tournament. Highlighted that my short game really needs to improve with my lomg game being in pretty good shape. Stayed at Grandad's over the weekend and we played the Balgove and Strathyrum courses, shot my best 18 score round the balgove of 73 Gross for 18 holes and I broke 100 off the yellow tees on the Strath! All the BJGT players did pretty well, Xavier and Dom finished in the top 10 for their age group and Zac did well in his.
We have heard from Reading FC and I have my first session in the academy on the 12th June.
18 May 2009
It was the BJGT Major at the Belfry over the weekend on Saturday, I played really solid tee to green with only a few errors. My short game was still a bit rusty and I left a few shots out there. The course was in pretty good condition but unfortunately the greens had been holotined and dressed so putting was a bit of a lottery. I shot 103 to finish 4th out of the field of 8, 5 shots off the lead, I was pretty happy though as it was only my second time back since my injury. My arm was mainly ok although I managed to "tweak" it a couple of times. Rhys Brown and Nya Fraser Laurence tied for the win with Dom Clemons in 3rd. I played with Dom and we had a great time as usual, we were round in just over 3 hours for 18 holes so hopefully that proves that junior golfers aren't all slow. I am quite a quick player so it really suited me. Dad was really pleased with me as I had a little wobble around the 6th to the 9th but I played the back 9 which is the harder of the 2 really well. I managd to keep my cool and focus on getting back on track.
I also saw Rob in the week and he was really happy with my swing only one thing to be careful of in my backswing, I have noticed even since my injury that I am hitting the ball about 20-30 years further with all my clubs. Dad is finding it hard keeping up with that, during a 6 hole practice round in the week before the Belfry we pulled an 8 iron for a 60 yard shot and I airmailed the green pitching it about 75 - 80 yards. Glad to say at the Belfry we got the clubbing pretty much right. Rob also had a look at my shorter lob pitching which has been giving me a little bit of grief and it certainly helped as I used it on the 18th at the Belfry, getting it up and down which secured my 4th place. Had a few problems with my 30 - 40 yard pitching so will work on that this week in practice. Dom is particularly good at these shots, creating a lot of spin and control so I am going to try and get as good as him at these.
Focus this week will be on prep for the European Championship, me and Dad fly up to Scotland on Saturday, we will stay with Grandad in St Andrews before heading down for the opening ceremony and practice on Bank Hol Monday. Here is a link to the BBC website which includes coverage on the event.
I finished just outside the top 20 last year after leading the tournament in the 1st round so I am aiming to improve on this.
Football tournament on Sunday, we did ok finishing 5th out of the 6 teams, bearing in mind they were all from higher divisions that wasn't too bad - see the news page for an exciting development on the football front.
11 May 2009
Finally back into competition this week, decided to only play nine holes which was good as I played with 2 old mates Xavier and Ben, also with Arnie for the first time. Finished 2nd behind Xavier by 9 shots shooting 53, hit the ball pretty well but my short game was very poor. Xavier played great being level par gross through 3 holes which included a chip in birdie on the first, awesome shot! The course was very hard under foot with some of the approach shots almost unplayable so all in all I was pretty happy. It was good playing with little Ben, he is still 5 and will be a great player, he is waiting on possibly going to San Diego as well so that would be cool if he gets in.
Football was good I played for my old team in the under 9's - now play in my right age group in the under 8's, we just missed out on qualifying for the semi finals so as we were missing players that was pretty good. There will be more news on my football so check back soon! Can't say too much at the moment!
Best thing of the weekend is that we finally got the barbeque out, this is the only time Dad really "cooks"!!!
4/5/2009
Into May and I'm back on the Golf Course, yippee!
Been steadily building it up this week from hitting chips to half shots to full swing, played 6 holes at Calcot on Friday but my arm was aching a bit. Played nine holes on Saturday, this time Dad took my trolley round and that helped. Didn't play too bad although I have lost a little distance with my Driver. Planning to play next week back on the Tour at Hinksey Heights near Oxford (one of the closer venues for us), not sure yet if I will play 9 or 18 holes, will see how this week goes before we decide.
Back to football as well, we had training on Wednesday and that went ok. Dad played with Nigel, Noel, Jason, Dan and Dan today in the Dad's fun tournament. They were rubbish and finished last! Dad did ok although he tweaked his groin about 2 minutes into the first game!
Starting to firm up plans for the trip to the 2 World Championship events and it's looking good for the European Champs later in the month. I have also confirmed I would like to play at the Belfry in 2 weeks time in the next Tour Major, so fingers crossed I get a slot. Not expecting too much from the next few tournaments but I am just really looking forward to seeing all my friends on the tour as I missed them. It was really nice to get get-well emails, cards and messages on the Tour Website, so thanks to everybody for those,
27/4/2009
Out of plaster now! Had it off on Wednesday, Doctor has said that I could be back playing golf in the next couple of weeks, just chipping and putting this week! Dad went up to St Andrews this weekend, it is getting closer to the European Champs so I am hoping I will be ok. Will be starting back to football training this Wednesday.
17/4/2009
Well getting closer to having the plaster off, been just watching sport during the week and playing in the house or garden. I walked round 9 holes with Dad, Craig, Ray and Bal the other day, of course wished I'd been playing!
Unfortunately Liverpool didn't quite do it but what a game, expecting some grief from Dominic next time I see him! Will update my blog again next week once the plaster is off and I get an idea how long it will be until I'm playing Football and Golf again.
9/4/2009
Better news - went to the hopspital yesterday, I will hopefully be out of plaster in 2 weeks time! Turns out I am mending quickly, probably due to all the milk I'm drinking! Doctor said I will be stiff for a while but it's looing like the US Kids European Champs are still on. Off school at the moment but I am pretty board not being able to play golf or football. Nightmare result for Liverpool last night, got a get well email from Dominic today - he didn't mention the result, thought he would being a Chelsea Fan!
Also got some get well messages from other BJGT players which was really nice, it is the Adams Cup this weekend so I hope all the players have a great time, I don't think I could cope with going and watching when I should be playing!
Will be sorting out the trip to America this weekend with Dad, I am over the moon to be going, more details to follow, hope you all have a great Easter Weekend and enjoy your eggs!
1/04/2009
Well April Fools day was a nightmare for me. Playing football in the school playground I fell and hurt my arm, at first I thought I had just bruised it but Dad took me to the hospital and they xray'd it. Turns out I have a fracture in my elbow. I am in a cast from my upper arm to my fingers. They have said I will be in plaster for 4 to 6 weeks, I will be going back to hospital next week for them to remove the initial cast and put on another one, I should then know more about the fracture and how long it will take to mend. I was really scared to go to hopsital but the nurses were really nice, they showed me on a teddy what they were going to do so I calmed down a bit. They gave me the teddy but I have given it to Lucy, she says she will take the cast off the teddy when mine comes off!
The worst bit of this is that I will miss the Adams Cup which I was desperate to play in having been selected. I will also miss some other tournaments. I am hoping I will be ok to go Scotland for the European Champs at the end of May but I won't if it isn't 100% ok to do so. I will also miss Football Training and probably our next Football Tournamant, those who know me well will know that I am already getting uptight with not being to do any sport. As soon as there is further news on the injury next week I will update my blog.
29/3/2009
Last entry for March, this weekend the Golf Tour were at Chesfield Downs Golf Club, I couldn't make it as I had county coaching at Castle Royle and a football tournament in the afternoon. Saw Dominic won the event with Ryan and Rhys also shooting good scores, well done Dom!
Coaching was really fun and Rob was there this time, so that was cool - we did short and long game skills tests as well as being coached and I did really well. It highlighted my wedge play and chipping could be better but my driving, long game and putting came out pretty well. Seeing Rob next week for a one to one session so guess what I will be asking him to look at!
Then the major event of the weekend our first football tournament. We played 4 games drawing three and only losing one we scored 2 goals and I got those. Brandon won the effort award and we all picked up a medal. The only team to beat us went on to win the tournament overall so Dad, Nigel and Jasom were really pleased with us. Going to have a quiet day today, Lucy and Mum are off to a party and then they are watching the half marathon as my uncle Julian is running in it, he is doing well this year and has finished in the top 5 in some races! May play some holes later this evening now the clocks have changed.
22/3/2009
No golf this week except for a little practice one evening after school. But we had our first ever football match in my new team on Saturday. We played an under 7's team (we are under 8's), we got beat 3-2 by Westwood. They are a good team who are playing in a sunday league. 2 mistakes had us 2 nil down at halftime and we conceeded a 3rd in the 2nd half. I managed to score with Jake scoring in the final minute. I have to work on my reaction a little to getting beat especially as I'm captain as this could have been better after the game.
I have county coaching this weekend which is great as I haven't seen Rob for ages, he couldn't fit in a session with me following not being around at the last county session. Also have a football tournament which is the end of season league tournament. We will be playing against teams who have been playing for a season already so it will be hard.
16/3/2009
Great weekend this weekend! I have been selected as the Captain for the football team for the coming season. Dad, Nigel and Jason voted on this and Dad tells me he didn't pick me being my Dad and all that so thanks to Nigel and Jason! I will do my best to encourage the team and set the right example. I trained with my old team last week it was good to see all my mates on the team again and Andy Pilling. I will try and get along to a session with them every now and again stay in touch and it is good for me to play with older players. This weekend coming it is our first match with a friendly against Westwood.
Then of course the Liverpool v Man U game was amazing, I don't Dad has quite calmed down yet!
Yesterday it was down to Princes for the BJGT Major, didn't realise but it is right next door to Royal St Georges where they hold The Open, I love Links Courses and this one was brilliant. The weather was good and I played with Richard Cheetham and Dan Keen(again!!), it was good playing with the older boys and also good as I didn't know how the other Under 8's were doing, most of the events with small fields in out age group become a bit like match play. I shot 108 coming 2nd to Rhys Brown who shot 105. I just edged out Rhys earlier in the year so he got his own back! Dominic was just a little further back in 3rd although he said he didn't play very well at all, but you can't play well all time! Got home quite late so it was a quick bath as my legs were aching a bit and of to bed, it's Mum's birthday today so hopefully we may get out tonight. Well another week at School coming up, I won't fit any golf in to the back end of the week and then it's the build up to our first football match! Me and Dad gave Steve Adams a bit of stick being a Man U fan but I am sure I will get it back soon!
7/3/2009
As many of you know 7 is my lucky number (and Dad's actually), I Was born on the 7th and always mark my ball with "H7". So played today with my new golf balls which were already numbered 7. Me and Dad travelled up to Woodhall Spa which is near Lincoln last night and would you believe it we stayed in the Hotel next to the course in room.........you guessed it number 7. When we got there we played a game a chess before we went to bed and Dad had a couple of beers - Craig you need to have a go at him, thought he is on a diet!. So playing today on the 7th as well - you would imagine the omens were good.
Woodhall Spa is a very tough course, home of the English Golf Union and "The National Golf Centre", and is ranked in the top 50 golf courses in the world. It is quite flat but there are lots of very deep bunkers and lots of Heather to carry off the tees. In my age group there were 2 of us, James Bailey and me, we also played with Dan Keen(U10's), this was the same 3 ball as the last day of Last year's Grand Final at Celtic Manor so we all know each other well. James broke his arm during the winter so had a while out of the game like I did last year. We had a right old battle and the final scores don't really tell the whole story, I shot 116 to James's 121, but it really could have gone either way in the last 2 or 3 holes. It was just my lucky day!! This was a Race to Portugal Qualifier for the Grand Final in Portugal in October. Also had some great news on email tonight, I have been selected to play in the Adams Cup, The British Junior Golf Tour Equivalent of the Ryder Cup. This is being played in over Easter and I am really looking forward to it!
28/2/2009
Last blog entry of February!
Had county coaching today which was really good fun, we had to stand up at the beginning and tell everybody what we had achieved last year and what our goals were for this year, it was a bit scary but I think I did ok! We then had a short game skills challenge which was quite hard but good. Gave me a couple of things to work on. We then had a long game session with Jason one of the coaches which was good as well. Missed football training but you can't be in 2 places at once as Dad says!
Will try and fit in a bit of practice tomorrow afternoon, maybe play a few holes at Calcot. Will update my blog again next week after I have played at Woodhall Spa.
25/2/2009
Had a great half term break, after the Forest of Arden I managed to fit in a couple of club stablefords, these were my first proper club compettions and I played off the mens tees, so 31 points in both comps was pretty good I think! I played with Matt Hicks in both of these and Dan Honey in the first one, thanks to them for playing with me and helping round. Dad walked around on the first one and watched me, from time to time he helped me wth my electric trolley but on the 2nd I played completly on my own, so maybe the caddie is sacked! I found the experience really good and I think it will help me more as I play more golf. Also had a good training session with the football team, also got chance to train with my old team last night and I really enjoyed seeing them all again.
It is county coaching this Saturday although Rob might not be there as he may have to out in the states coaching one of his tour players. Then I will be building up to the next British Junior Golf Tour event at Woodhall Spa Lincolnshire the following weekend, I might let the caddie back on the bag for this one!
17/2/2009
Well the Forest of Arden was another great venue, it was a tough long course. I am one of the shorter hitters on the tour at the moment so I tend to struggle on longer courses. My putting and short game were also a bit off but I shot a reasonable 115 over approx 5500 yards. Played with Dominic again as the only 2 in our age group - he beat me quite easily in the end by 8 shots, I didn't get off the best of starts falling 3 shots behind after 3 holes which included a penalty shot when my ball went in a lake after hitting a bird, the bird was stunned but was ok in the end!! I was one shot behind going into the back nine but a four putt started a very poor run of holes. Dominic played well again and to be honest could have shot lower than his 107. I also got a bit down on myself, something I need to control better. Well done Dom and thanks for a great day, we had a good laugh in the clubhouse! Also played with George who was in the age group above, thanks for the game George, lets hope we both putt better next time.
Anyway you can't play well all the time! So it's onwards.....may get some practice sometime this week as I'm off school, think I may speand some time on the putting green!
15/2/2009
Half Term at last! Had a good session with Rob yesterday working on a couple of things on my swing.
Also had a good training session with the Football Team, things are coming together and we hope to play our first match soon.
Woburn had been called off tomorrow due to the course condition following the bad weather but the tour have managed to swap it with the Forest of Arden so its off to Birmingham!
8/2/2009
Well the snow in the UK scuppered any golf or football this weekend so it was a quiet weekend on the sporting front.
Got a session with Rob coming up this weekend on Saturday and will hopefully get chance to practice a bit before we play at Woburn next week. There are a lot of Golf Tour events during half term but I will probably struggle to get to anymore than Woburn due to Dad's work commitments. Me and Dad have been going through our picture files and hope to update the gallery this week with some more picture
1/02/2009
So into Feb, played at The London Club yesterday, the home of the European Open on the European Tour. Another great course on the BJGT, we played the International Course, the Pros play the Heritage. Off the red tees - 5494 Yrds I shot 113 finishing runner up by a shot, there we 3 of us playing, I played with Lewis and Rhys Brown (no relation!!). It was really cold and the course was playing long, it looked like we weren't going to get round and although we finished in the dark we made it. The 3 of us had quite a battle, at one stage or another all of us were leading but Lewis played the last 2 holes the best to edge me and Rhys out. Dad had to carry the bag as we were not allowed electric trolleys, he is worn out today as there were a lot of long walks from greens to the next tees. Lewis is heading off to the USA soon to play in the Jekill Island Cup one of the US Kids events, he played in it last year and finished well up on the leaderboard, so good luck Lewis! I will be playing with Rhys again soon probably at Woburn which is our next Major.
25/1/2009
Quiet week this week after all the excitement of the Sports Awards!
It was the Junior AGM at Calcot on Monday, it was great to see the juniors at the club pick up their prizes, hopefully I will get to do that in the future.
It was Football training on Saturday which went quite well, today I was meant to play in a junior comp at Calcot but the course was closed, so went over to Wentworth and played 9 holes round ther Par 3 course, shot +5, one of my goals this year is to shoot lower than +5 so will hopefully achieve that in the summer. I still have to hit driver into 4 of the holes so as I get bigger it should get a bit easier.
Back to school tomorrow and looking forward to the London Club next weekend this was the venue for the European Open last year on the European Tour so it should be cool!
17/1/2009
Played at Delapre in Northants today.
Played with Dominic Clemons and Lucy Walton, Lucy is 9 and hits it miles! Me and Dom were the only ones in our group so it was kind of match play.
Dominic is still 6 although he is playing 18 holes in the 8's and under, he beat me by 5 shots today and played really well. His Mum and Dad and Sister came round with him. His Dad Mike is pro and him and Dad had a good chat on the way round. Dom's wedge play in particular was excellent. Dom won his age group at Wee Wonders last year and also played great in the Callaway World Championship. We get on really well and a good laugh on the way round.
I played ok shooting 108 over quite a long course, wasn't at my best but certainly not my worst! Really nice afterwards Steve and Sherry told everybody about my Sports Personality win. Wasn't too good after that - I didn't feel 100% all day and started to feel a bit sick in the clubhouse and ended up being unwell all the way home. Going to have a quiet week this week, no golf next weekend either. Dad spoke to Nigel and the football team trained well today so looking forward to training next Saturday.
14/1/2009
Wow, watched the ITV south coverage of the Sports Personality of the Year Award last night, and they had my interview on there. They also caught me on camera yawning and not being able to hold the trophy up so my parents and Lucy had a good laugh about that! My Grandad Andrew has managed to get it into a video clip so I will try and get it on the site soon. Update - it's now on although got to test it yet
11/1/2009
Well what a way to start my blog
Weekend was amazing, went to see Reading play on Friday night it was freezing (minus7) but worth it as they won 4-0.
Saturday not so good – Football training was called off due to the frozen pitches.
Had a session with Rob on Sunday morning, working on my swing and he gave me a new practice game to play which is quite difficult but fun as well.
After a quick 9 holes it was off to the Reading Sports Personality of the Year awards where to my surprise I picked up the Male School Sports Personality of the Year.
I am really proud of this, to be there and listen to all the sportspeople’s achievements was amazing let alone picking up a prize myself! I wouldn’t have been there if it wasn’t for the British Junior Golf Tour and the opportunities they have given me so this is as much for them as for me, thanks to Steve and Sherry!
Steve Coppell was really nice to me when I picked up my award, and I sat with Claire Taylor who is a top lady Cricketer – she won Female Sports Personality of the Year and she was really nice to me as well especially when I was nervous.
So a week at School to look forward to now and then off the Delepre Golf Club in Northants Saturday for a BJGT Tournament.
There is more info and a clip with me and the prize winners on the website link below if you want to have a look,
